Summer skiing
Europe's highest skiable glacier (3,600 m) lets you ski in the summer months. A unique experience — ski in the morning, beach by the lake in the evening.

The 2 Alpes park is one of the biggest and most developed in the French Alps. Jump lines for every level, a pro half-pipe and international events all season.
The ice caves
Inside the glacier there are natural ice caves open to the public — a unique attraction and an unforgettable visual experience.
Link to Alpe d'Huez
In good snow conditions you can ski across to nearby Alpe d'Huez (a seasonal link, best done with a guide). The ski area effectively doubles in size.

FAQ

Les 2 Alpes FAQ

Absolutely. There's a comfortable beginner area in the village itself (1,650 m) with green and easy runs, and Hebrew/English-speaking instructors we work with. The glacier is better suited to more advanced skiers, but the lower village is perfect for beginners.
The glacier is open all winter (November–May) and additionally for summer skiing — usually from late October and during parts of June and early summer, subject to snow conditions. In winter it's the highest skiable glacier in Europe and guarantees snow even in late spring.
Les 2 Alpes and Alpe d'Huez are two ski towns in the same area (Oisans), a short distance from each other. In good snow conditions you can ski across via Pic Blanc — a seasonal link, best done with a guide. There's a combo ski pass for days when you want to explore both areas.
The village is relatively low (1,650 m) — most people don't feel the altitude at all on day one. When you go up to the glacier (3,600 m) drink plenty of water and don't overdo it. Coming down to the village at the end of the day eases things.
