Tignes FAQ

Le Lac (2,100 m) — the central village, by the lake, restaurants and bars. Val Claret (2,100 m) — closest to the glacier, sporty atmosphere. Le Lavachet — quieter, more family-oriented. Les Boisses — lower, greener, for those after calm. We help you choose based on your style.
The village sits at 2,100 m and you ski up to 3,456. Some guests feel a little fatigue on day one — drink plenty of water and take it easy at first. By the second day everyone is fully acclimated.
The glacier is open through the regular winter season (November–May), and additionally for summer skiing during October and parts of April–May. The classic summer (July–August) has been closed for skiing for several years due to ice melt.
Absolutely. With the Espace Killy ski pass you can move freely between Tignes and Val d'Isère — 300 km of connected runs. The Tovière lift crosses the boundary. Most guests use the last day or two to explore there as well.
Yes. All our apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, so you can cook and prepare for Shabbat in the apartment. Choose the dates that work for you — we'll handle the rest.
